The flag of Guam was adopted on February 9, 1948. The territorial flag is dark blue with a narrow red border on all four sides. In the center of the flag is a red- bordered and pointed vertical ellipse. It contains a beach scene, outrigger canoe complete with sail, and a palm tree with the word GUAM, colored in bold red letters. This is the National Flag of Guam. Guam is a territory of the United States of America. Guam is a unincorporated territory of the US with policy relations between Guam and the US. Located in between Hawaii and the Philippines.
