Hungary Flag
The flag of Hungary is a horizontal tricolour of red, white and green. The flag's colours are partly originated from the coat of arms of the Arpads - Hungary's founding dynasty - which was a shield of horizontal red and white stripes (although the design changed slightly during its usage by the Arpad kings).The horizontal tricolour was introduced before and during the 1848 revolution as a symbol of free Hungary. Besides the traditional heritage the colours have, the red symbolizes strength, the white symbolizes faithfulness and the green symbolizes hope. Each country flag conforms to all official specifications.
